At Agrifac we have been working on reducing crop protection and water for several years, which is why we are at the forefront of innovation when it comes to sustainable agriculture. Our technologies allow you to increase your crop yield while decreasing the amount of crop protection you need. The technologies we have developed can be combined to realise an enormous reduction of chemicals and water. Losses during spraying should be reduced to a minimum, one way Agrifac does this is by implementing drift reduction techniques.

Drift reduction can be accomplished by a lowered spray boom, the use of waves, wings or magnets, our air assistance system or our HighTechAirPlus system which is a combination of traditional spraying, air assistance and mixing in the nozzles. Our air assistance system, AirFlowPlus, is by far the best drift reduction option we offer, as it is highly effective. Other sustainable solutions to reduce losses include spot spraying, pulse-width modulation or camera spraying. Agrifac machines can be equipped with cameras and/or sensors to identify weeds and individually-controlled close-spaced nozzles will then only apply chemicals where the weed is. Agrifac has many more technologies that can be implemented to reduce crop protectants.

Agrifac has an 80 year long history of developing innovative tools and sustainable solutions. We invested in our factory in the Netherlands in 2018 making it the most sustainable in Europe (Breeam), developed machines using Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and Software as a service which reduce the footprint in agriculture enormously whilst enabling increased output. We will continue to drive these innovations towards the future.
