Gispro® Geerlofs Intelligent Storage Processor

- Inlet and outlet hatches to let the outside air in and out
- A construction suited to guide fresh air through the product (a drying wall, half round supply air channels above the ground and/or an open floor construction)
- Mechanical cooling system

Gispro® is Geerlofs’ hardware and software solution for the control of post harvest storage systems for tubers like potatoes and onions. It takes care of the control of the Geerlofs Giscool® refrigeration and ventilation systems based on actual weather data, product quality data and system information. It displays all relevant data (and more) on a touch screen for you to look at and change.
These requirements for keeping tubers fresh are well understood by Geerlofs Refrigeration as we have over the past decades cooperated with farmers who are in the fore front of long term storage. In this way farmers’ knowledge on the produce is integrated in our Gispro® control. Our own software engineers have developed an overall approach, combining the ventilation and refrigeration processes into one single control. Gispro® automates what you don’t want to be bothered with and gives you the freedom to adjust those items for which you want to have flexibility.
Through sensors and a internal calculator outside air temperature and absolute humidity are known as well as product absolute humidity and temperature. All these data are used to choose when and how to use fresh air supply and when and how to cool down the product.
Gispro® enables user friendly control through a touch screen giving you instantaneous overview. Extensive data analysis is possible with the visualisation tools. It comes with enough memory to log data for further analysis of virtually all signals over a longer period of time.

For long term storage directly after harvesting Gispro® ensures the highest quality fresh produce, even after 6 to 9 months in your cold store. It automatically runs a fresh air supply process to start drying and wound healing directly after harvest. And it switches to refrigeration mode directly after the produce is ready for storage.
